Last summer I said I wouldn't show anymore models, but these are the final ones, and I like all of them.

Great job on those cars John. I really like them all. Did you use the 6 cylinder engine in the 37? and does the coupe and sedan run flatheads?
Al
Cool racers! Of course I really like the orange Chev!
Tb
COOL builds!!!
They look GREAT!!
Thanks for the comments.
Al, the UFO, Faye's Diner, has the Chevy 6 cyl. The 46, Jim Robbins Spl./Gency Ford, a flathead with 3 carbs. And 17, Orville's Junk Yard, a Ford ohv with a 4 barrel.
Nice job John! They all look great!
Very nice builds John. Keep on building and having fun. Pleas continue to show us your builds.
Bob
Looking great, John.
Nice work on them all.
One more and you can have a trophy dash..........
Great work John. I agree with some others, that the orange coupe is a classic.
The local track that they are currently trying to shut down here is very short, and always has been. So with almost no straights, a big V8 didn't have that much of an advantage, especially back when it was still dirt. So we saw a lot of six cylinder cars back in the day. This build really brings back memories.

Thanks to all. I am pleased that you enjoyed them.
any chance there's larger photos & build threads for these?
thanks
:) Glad you like them, Sid. Well, there are no build threads. I am pretty much computer dumb, but my wife knows lots of stuff.
So, if you would like to send me an email address by personal message, I think we could get you some larger pictures, or a street address, some hard copy by regular mail. Might take a little time, but I think we can help you.
They are pretty simple, straight forward models. No great detail. I am artistic, and not mechanical, so all I know about cars, is what I have learned building models.
I've never seen those John. Those all look great! As a lifelong TN Vol, I appreciate the orange racer!
Always liked the oldies. Yours are nice.

Any help?
:) Thanks, everybody, and especially to Dan. I hope they are of some help.
Can y'all tell I like 5 wide wheels ?
I find by clicking on the pictures originally posted it says to click to enlarge. If I hold down Ctrl and scroll with mouse it enlarges the pic also. I am also computer illiterate.

:) Got your message. Will work on this soon.
in addition to the mechanicals, one of the things which draws me to these/ this era, cars is their appearance.
"... cars must appear at the track in a presentable condition. cars, all or partly painted with primer may compete for one week only."
quoted from the California Roadster Association, Incorporated "Limitations and Restrictions for the Track Roadster"
:) Sid, you have email.
thanks for the photos AND the heads-up. the email was in a spot it should not have been.
really appreciate you taking the time to send me them.
sid
