So.... I know this topic has been beaten to death over the years but i just have to ask since i have it as a pending build...

#21 Wood Brothers Purolator Mercury... how can i achieve the red roof color using Tamiya sprays?

Haven't done it myself, but heard that a gold base coat and transparent red in light coats until you reach the desired tone

I might try Tamiya Metallic Red with a Tamiya Clear Red top coat.
