Title: Decal help part #2
Post by: 18degrees on November 26, 2025, 04:41:01 PM
Hey y'all

Hope everyone is doing well with holiday preparations.

I recently was able to acquire a DW ASA Camaro kit and have no build plans. I would like to build a Dale Sr. #8 or #3 ASA car and can achieve most of the build with a Powerslide BGN sheet.

However, the most glaring omissions are the "Miller American" and "Dillon" chassis decals.

Anyone know where to source these from? I checked around on Mike's and was unable to locate anything. If someone could give me a source sheet for one or both i would be grateful. Or if someone could print them... they are all white so that may make it easier (???)

Thanks in advance

I was going to pick up a set of Fred Cady Dick Trickle decals on ebay but after doing research his car from that era was a Firebird

Dave, I have some Dillon decals. How big do they need to be? Can't help with the Miller American decals. I'll get you a picture tomorrow if that's okay.

thanks Steve.  they should be about big enough to fit on the B/C pillar area of an ASA Camaro or at the front of the door area.  pics below... if anyone can help with the Miller decal i would be ecstatic.

sooo... looks like i found some stuff that may work.  Steve is sending me a few Dillon decals and i located an old JNJ Bobby Hillin #8 decal set on ebay.  the Miller decals look to possibly maybe be smaller than the ones on the Powerslide sheet.

i'll make do with whatever i can get.

Well, as much as everyone hates him: Slot Car Fever has a set for that particular car. It's set #SCF-608C

You made me look.

Not to be negative right out of the box, but there wasn't an actual sheet preview for that decal.  Along with my past experiences with this seller (questionable customer service, decal quality) just not gonna go down that road again.

I think i can make what i have coming in work for me.
