Last post by 18degrees - February 11, 2026, 02:03:24 PMhey y'all... finished this one up last night. not sure why i was chomping at the bit to get this done but as soon as i got my parts from Jaye i got to work.
Revellogram slab side Monte Carlo kit, Slixx decals that were 30 years old... the decals held up fairly well, there was some cracking and chipping that i was able to mitigate for the most part. had 2 sheets just in case. paint is Tamiya metallic blue. parts from Jaye - wheels, hubs, exhaust, dash, shifter, fire bottle, antenna, fuel filler. there WAS a driveshaft hoop but when i secured the engine in place i forgot to add the driveshaft
so when i was fiddling around with the driveshaft, the hoop popped off and went flying... i still haven't been able to locate it.
the car ran in 7 races in 1995 and DNQ'd for 2.
i looked up a Dover BGN race video on YouTube to see what the grille setup was and went with that
here it is..

The builder printed his own decals for this Stanton Barrett ride. I bought four in total. Being the buyer is from here in the UK, i don't know why he's a fan of this driver, but he printed decals for all his cars. One being a Taurus that am stripping down.
