John, I am not an admin, but I would suggest you post it in the forum era that it represents. Just my thoughts.
When I win the Powerball I will switch to the real ones.

I second TarheelRick's recommendation.

:) Thanks, guys.  Actually, I should have asked where to look at them, because I don't have one to post. I just wanted to get some ideas.

I have built a couple in the past, and posted them, but I cannot remember where.  I usually wind up tearing them apart, as they take up space, and collect dust.

But they are fun to piddle with.

I put mine in "Trucks, Trailers, and Haulers" but I probably should've put it in "Street, drag, or anything else non short track or NASCAR."

:) Thank you.  I will go there now.

John, Have you checked the Model Cars Magazine forums, now called Model Car Makers. There are a ton of dioramas there, both built and WIP.

...from a contest judges point of view.....
The model club that I belong to is I.P.M.S sanctioned.  Even though there are diorama classes (any subject small size, large size) there are a few builds that get judged in the other classes that are not quite diorama.
A diorama is described of a build containing figures...military armor as a good example.  So to answer your question, it would depend on the subject matter....examples as it pertains to these forums.
Say you build an early ARCA or IMCA car and have it in a shop or pit...it would go into that forum since the focus is the stock car and not the rest of the build.
Say you build a pick up pulling a trailer with a sprint car on it parked on a road...it would go into the open wheel part of the forum since the focus is the sprint car....if it was just the pick up and trailer(the focus), it would go into the hauler section.
Say you build an enclosed hauler parked outside of a shop...it would go into the hauler section of the forum since that would be the focus of the build and not what could be inside it or the shop.
Say your build is a back yard mechanic working on an old beater...it would go into the street, drag or anything else non short track or Nascar since the focus is on the old beater.

:) I believe a separate topic called " Dioramas " would be the easiest.  Maybe the boss will create one.
