Thanks, Steve. I have decided to do all the tires first before I spoke the wheels. I'm almost through with the second tire and it seemed to go smoother than the first one which really isn't completely finished yet.

What I have so far.

Began adding tread to the first tire using a rasp file in the soft putty to leave the imprint of tread. Had to spray alcohol on the file to keep it from sticking to the putty to allow the imprint to take. The alcohol should not affect the curing of the putty which takes 24 hours. I will probably have to lightly sand it and maybe use a file here and there to enhance the tread. Kind of tricky getting the putty to lay down flat enough to stick the file in it. I had to use the back of a plastic spoon sprayed in alcohol to smooth it down because the putty wanted to stick to the spoon instead of the tire.
