hey y'all, hope all is well with the approaching holiday

i finished this one up last night, just a quick build to keep myself busy while i wait on what i need to arrive to finish the 1s.

it's an Acme 1/18 sprint car kit, only mods i did to it were the visor in front of the driver and the body panel sections that are on the left and right side of the roll cage hoop.  decals are from PrintIt and were easy to work with.  didn't bother with adding the wheel covers, it's kinda a PitA to do them... like i said, wanted this one to be quick.  only color that was painted was the black, it's Tamiya semi gloss black.  the blue sections and orange stripes are decals. the wheels and suspension parts were painted with Tamiya metallic black and the headers are MM metalizer gun metal.

Tyler Courtney drove this car to the 2018 USAC national sprint car championship. he had 40 series starts with 11 wins, 29 top 5s, and 36 top 10s, and led 321 laps on the season.  all impressive stats.  this was when NOS first got on the car, it wasn't a full season sponsorship at the beginning.  been with him and the team ever since.  he did win the USAC national midget title the following season; he never ran a full season in Silver Crown so he was not able to achieve a USAC career triple crown.

anyways, all that aside, let's get on with the pics

the right front doesn't touch the ground, not sure what i did as this has never happened to me with one of these Acme kits.
