Thanks for the update! I've been seeing a few VW mini stockers pop up on the MN Max YouTube channel lately, got me to thinking about your build. Voila, here's an update.

Quick update on what has been a pretty slow process. I've had to do a lot of guess work for the roll cage but I think I've got something that works pretty well.

At first, I was thinking of using the AMT wheel and tire combo and calling it a day. Been looking a little closer at my reference and noticed the treaded tires so I've decided to use the stock tires and wheel back plates. For the stock build, the rear of the rim goes inside the tire. However, I still wanted to use the AMT wheels so I decided to flip them around and attach them to the back. I made a jig to saw the fronts down to the proper thickness and scooped the 5 lugs to be reconfigured to 4. Not sure I want to sacrifice any more Monogram wheels for the lugs so I'll figure something out soon... hopefully.
