Don't know how many versions of the 16 there might have been.
This one, with the skinny knobby tread tires and the fully covered
hood many have been the first after the full fender bodied cars
were dropped.
Got lucky on EBAY and won four AMT 34 Ford coupes($29.95)...
Still have
two more...

Looks great. On these old photos, do you have some color ones when doing a build or how do you determine color on black and white shots

Color photo is rare. Red & black look about the same in a b/w photo. I do remember the
actual car was white with red numbers. Kind of use imagination from there. I like red & white.
But could have actually been a black chassis.

Did some earlier versions of the white 16 cars where I painted the chassis black

Then there were painted black versions of the 16

winged Model A bodied version

Even a red version at one time

They all look great! As far as the colors go, I always figure no one is gonna know the correct colors anyway. I know I don't!

Another beauty! Love these Jax jalopies. You do a great job on all of them. Never get tired of em'.

I know those old cars were dangerous, but they had to be a blast to drive.

nice stable of vintage stockers.

i've not been around long enough to know the significance of #16, but the '34 couple is a real looker.
