So I bought a new spray booth several months ago. It's sitting beside my bench, still in its box. I have a dilemma of my own making, I tend to over think the heck out of things. First , this is in a work shop, separated from the home by a breezeway. My issue is that I don't really want to drill a 4" hole in the wall to exhaust the booth. I can do it, got all the tools needed including a 4" hole saw. Just don't want too. There is a window fairly nearby, but I have an air conditioner/heat pump unit in the window so that's out. I'm thinking about venting to one of those filtered interior dryer vent units. Saw that one on YouTube. Then I thought about just making my own out of a five gallon bucket. Have any of you done anything like this? Any advice or opinions?

Thanks,
Steve

For years I vented out the  window thru  the space next to my window air conditioner unit. Instead if using the accordion panel the unit came with, I installed a plywood panel with a dryer vent flap and hose attached. The flap keeps the critters from "nesting" in the hole
