Just learned of a friend's passing.....

She passed away at home...
Knew she had been having some health issues of late, but had seemed to be doing okay.
Her daughter posted on FB  that she passed away.

Long story short, we "met" via the Avis computer system back in late 1985, writing back and forth that way, plus a few phone calls now and then,
Learned that her youngest children, twins, a boy and a girl were born just a few days apart as my then roommate's daughter.....
Finally met her in 1994 on a visit to where she lived in South Carolina, while on vacation to FL in 1994.
Went back in 1977.....
Last saw her in July 2001 just after the race at Daytona.....

Tried to keep in contact with her via emails and eventually FB....
