(FINISHED) Gastrock's Special super modified from 1964
« on: June 20, 2020, 03:04:52 PM »
This is my replica of the Gastrock's Special number 12. Buick powered car, driven by Frankie Thompson in 1964.

Suppliers to thank for there help in making this build possible.

Greg Holland for the decals and 3-D printed rock screen.

Hondo for the Nail Head Buick engine.

Big Donkey Resin for the following parts: Frame, Body and hood, Tire & wheels, Seat, steering wheel, fuel injection.
I did do some modifications to the body.

Wow. You nailed it. Good to hear you had fun. Sometimes trying to do an exact replica can be a real pain.

Another great replica build!  What material did you use to make the exhaust headers?

The exhaust are made from solder, painted flat black.

Thanks for your comments on this build, it was a fun build.
