What happens to old race cars - A partial answer
« on: February 17, 2021, 07:22:54 PM »
Thought this may be of interest to any "older" NASCAR fans.

Billy Rhine was a former crew guy for NASCAR teams in the '80s & '90s.
The last team he worked for was the team that Adam Petty drove for in the Cup series..
Adam was Kyle's son, Richard's grandson.

Billy started a company to restore old race cars. It's located in the Denver, NC area near all the NASCAR teams.
Many of these are still used in "Historic" racing groups.

Here's his website and a couple cool videos of some of his cars he's done.
He's a cool guy too.

Quite an operation.  Would like to walk thru that.
