Thats a big improvement over whats in the box! Tires and wheels for sure more realistic and the straight 6 is a neat idea. Thx for posting Gary.

Thanks guys!  Those are 1-24 scale Monogram Nascar tires and rims, they fill up a little more of that big wheel opening than 1-25 scale .

Oh my yes, a blast from the past.  Very nice build, brings back memories from the NC short tracks in the late 60's.
When I win the Powerball I will switch to the real ones.

One of the best short track body styles ever made, its hard to go wrong with this era Chevelle!
I appreciate people that actually build and post models.

Congrats on a very nice and clean Chevelle, the 6 banger is just an extra nice touch. That particular body is my favorite style of all the Chevelle  cars  they ever produced. I know I know the later Chevelle styling is what everyone things of.....but not me. All my pals were blown away with the SS396's when they came out but I never shifted my loyalty over. You can put a big block in one of these and make it go just as fast.....and look better doing it in my book.  Great job, thanks for sharing.
