Met up with Hondo earlier this week

Met up with Hondo/Jim for a stroll through the Seaport District of Boston and dinner this past Tuesday.  He was (is still!) in town while his company is holding a convention at the BCEC. 

Jim is a great guy and I really enjoyed hanging with him (He's got a really cool accent, too.  ). We talked work, yardwork, sports, racing, childhood memories pertaining to cars and racing, oh yeah, and building.

As I was driving home it occurred to me that we never got a photo taken!  Jim, we'll just have to get together again some time to make that happen!

   I sure am glad you two guys got to meet. I think highly of you both.

I have seen Hondo 3 times now, and although you and I have not met personally, we did swap modifieds,  so that was the next best thing.

   Yes, Charlie, a number of times. I  always enjoy it.  I think we can get Rick to meet us next time.

Well, I survived the 13 days and 12 nights stay in Bahston. (Sorry Bill, had to do it)
Just landed here at Memphis in a thunderstorm this afternoon.
Worked hard, got to meet up with Bill, a great guy and we had a nice evening. Also, saw a Red Sox game at Fenway Park (too cool), went whale watching and spent time with coworkers from around the country.
(Guess we both failed to get that photo, Bill, but, the evening was great.)

Had this cool NE dirt modified in one of our vendor's booths. Thinking I may try to pull off building one of them now.
