Buddy Baker Dodge by Polar Lights
« on: August 28, 2017, 06:31:25 PM »
My first and , so far, only POLAR Lights Dodge build. I wanted to follow the directions, painted and lettered, I could not get the components to fit. The first picture with the box cover depicts that. Did major surgery to the front end, and repainted the chassis interior and cage, while assembled! One of my more successful masking jobs, if I may say! But now that is finished, I admit, I'm rather fond of it!

Thanks for posting this up Tom. I've always wanted to try one of the Polar Lights cars and wondered how they would build. Your honest opinion, on a scale of 1(worst) to 10 (best), how is the building out of the box ??
My worst day of building STILL beats my best day at work !!

I would say a 5. Had to do some serious hacking on the fire wall and front clip bars to make it work. But , on the plus side, I like how it looks now that it's finished.
We'll see how the next one goes.
