64 Petty Plymouth FINISHED 10/12/17
« on: October 08, 2017, 03:53:22 PM »
This is my fourth build from the Petty Plymouth kit. This time I am using the latest AMT version of the good ol' Lindburgh kit. I wanted to see how the decals came out. Still have the same black drop shadow rather the the correct dark blue. It also is molded in Petty blue which is rather inconvenient, I wish the would just leave the white.
Other wise this is a fun, easy, relaxing kit to build. I never built a Petty car, this one will probably be the 41 car, but I will have a two car team, eventually. Here's what I have, so far. It's going quickly.

Never bought one of these kits, but it looks like LIndberg did it "right with the interior side panels, street version on one side and racing version on the other side.

Lookin' good....!

Ready to decal clear and assemble. This is right out of the box, folks, with just a smidge of enhancement by me! Very nice kit!
