I got home from work and a box of wonderful surprises was at my desk!!! Wife brought in a box of greatness from John!!! Got a few pit stop repairs to make so they can hit the track and run fenders!!!  They will be proudly displayed with John's name beside them!!!!!!!

On the warm side here, especially for late Oct. But the farmers are loving it, as there has been far to much rain this fall and it's hampered them in getting the harvesting done.
This is the 1st day that I just stayed home this week! It's been a while since I've been on the go, such as it is, this much in a long time.
However, still having trouble remembering what day of the week it is....   

The water tower project is finally underway after a year's delay by one person in one of the gov't agencies not doing their job in a timely manner. But, finally the lot where it's going has been cleared. Though the actual tower won't start going up until next year, with any luck, starting in April for actual construction, though parts will be worked on and painted during the winter months before being brought here to start "assembling" it.

I came home from work went grocery shopping with the wife and daughter. then cooked dinner went to the mode l room and cleaned it up . then went to bed not feeling good.

Well, it rained here yesterday in the early a.m. so painting is off the short list. Rain couldn't be more welcome in Mohave. Firefighters are finally getting a break. The sky is clear of smoke for a change, and the air smells sweet. The roads are like an ice rink, from a long dry summer with not even a small amount of rain. The wind, and extreme heat, caused the substantial acorn crop to drop weeks ago, so ground acorns and a little rain have greased many of the roads, and streets.
