My younger brother had a ‘64 Tempest with a 326, and a 4speed when we were in high school. Everybody was raving about the new Malibu’s and of course the GTO, but that little Tempest was a real goer. His best friend stole it when we were all at a party together, and rolled it. He had only had it for two weeks, and it already had a reputation as a car to be recond with.
