V8 Vega work in progress
« on: April 08, 2018, 10:10:39 PM »
Been tinkering with an old MPC Vega again. Ground out the molded in exhaust and rear axle. Stiffened the top of the chassis with some sheet plastic before completely removing the axle and muffler. Some cleanup work with the dremel and file and installed a 12 bolt rear end from the AMT Motion Camaro kit. Wheels will be from the Camaro as well. Didn't care much for the old front inner fenders. Basically they were promo molds. Got one cut off and grafting in inner fenders from the AMT Monza to make it look a little more realistic.
