I was able to attend the first "annual" NW Arkansas Model Show yesterday and I was fortunate to meet Lefturns in person! He is indeed every bit the character he seems to be and he helped pass the time quickly. Some of our other members were there, Prostreeter69 and dbranson and probably 15 more folks that I know from modeling. There were a LOT of builds on the tables and Lefturns and I did our own completely "unofficial-sarcastic" judging and we decided that some builders need to get a life of some kind while others need ot get a new hobby!  ;D ;D Some of the builds were out of this world while some of them needed to be out of that room! Still, ANYONE who takes the time and effort to build things should get a "Medal and a pat on the back!" Anyway, thinks for introducing yourself Lefturns and we'll try to make an annual affair of this show!
I appreciate people that actually build and post models.

Gee David, you're too kind.   I think the word you were looking for is "Un-fortunate".  Yes, I am known as Lefturns but also as B.S. Fuller.  I hope it didn't take too long to wipe all of it off after you left, Lye soap works pretty well.   David is right, there were lots of beautiful models on the tables, some really wonderful work.  I met some interesting people there---People I have not seen in almost 30 years, fantastic builders, people with a wonderful sense of humor, a few nit-wits and some that should be locked up somewhere.   After all, this was near Podunkville.  Any of you guys on here that are close enough should plan to attend next year, it will be worth it.

David, you are a "Character" yourself.  Thank you for the company, I had a great time!
