I'm going to try to build a model without a kit just using styrene and other household products. In other words, it will be a 1/12 scale totally scratch built model that will end up about 13.5 inches long.

Now this is going to be a fun ride!

When you come to the cross, turn right and go straight.

Getting closer to installing wires in the wheel.

MarkJ

Have to start over and make wheels that don't have drilled holes. That process does not work.

...Thought I may have been onto something as far as figuring at least part of it out until you started over...fallowing this build closely none the less.

MarkJ

Thanks, Brian. The way they messed things up over at model car magazine forum I doubt if anyone is following the build over there. This board will probably be getting a lot of new members thanks to the frustration of trying to use the Model car Makers forum.

Got some more done on the wheels

Like Brian, I thought that I might be on to something, but now I'm backtracking. I'll just say it, I was thinking some sort of motorcycle.

Mark, I agree with you about the new Model Car Makers site, I don't what they've done either. Completely admit the I'm a proud dinosaur, the only thing that I do like is the ease of posting pictures.

Thanks, Steve. It definitely has 4 tires. As time goes on it will narrow down pretty quickly as to what it is. But figuring out the year will be tricky.

O.K, so I'm not off my rocker, I was thinking the Luner Rover from the Apollo 15 Mission Apr.1971

I'm going to throw my hat in the ring and take a guess that this is going to be a military type vehicle
Off-road is my second guess

Thanks, drppr76 but not either one of those. Not sure spoke wheels would work on either one of those applications.
