Thanks, Dave. Your suggestions came in handy during the build.

Like Donato said, well worth the wait. That´s true.

You´ve built a very nice looking replica of Terry´s Camaro, Mark !!

The car has a very fast and dynamic look, great  :)

Thanks, Michael. I always liked the look of the 3rd gen Camaro. Thats why we bought one back in 1984. I'd like to post a picture of it, but it's buried in an album of real photographs stuck somewhere that can never be found. Just picture a metallic gray 1984 Z28 with gold wheels and gold stripes along the bottom of the doors and fenders wrapping around the front and rear bumpers. We ordered it special from the chevy dealership I worked for back then.

Great-looking build. Pretty much spot-on. Nice work.

Open Wheel cars-modifieds/sprints / Yankee Smith Lake City 1965
Last post by HAWK22 - April 17, 2025, 05:44:13 PM
Lake City, just west of Jacksonville, kept running modified cars after Jax
switched over to late models. South of Jax St. Augustine also had a dirt track
running modifies. This model is a redux for my own collection. The one I
did earlier is in Jacksonville.
Resin body/tires. Still a few minor details to add but 99% finished...

always helps to have a color photo. Around 1965 at Lake City.
